The Land of the Lake
The Lake is not really a lake – that’s just what the locals named this large land-locked sea, with water just as salty as the ocean’s. The Lake is large enough that it takes several days to sail across, depending on the weather. There is a rather large shipping industry on The Lake, mostly run by human and half-human traders. Most of the docks and ports are named after the town, village, or city closest to them, with the exception of Dock 37-B, located on the shores of The Lake halfway between the ports of Arcadia and Davenstoll.
